On the Twelfth Day of Christmas...

Well, I finally managed to finish the last one up this evening! Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and I hope you've been able to find a use for my 12 days of Christmas drawings. :)

This one is also larger than indicated by the preview below. Click that picture to see it at a larger size. It's about 90% on the larger preview. Dimensions are 350 x 875 px.

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...

Next to the last in the set! I guess the twelfth one will show up sometime tomorrow. Going to be a busy day, but I want to get them all finished up before Christmas gets here so I'll make sure to get a little bit of PSP time during the day sometime or other, even if it's late tomorrow evening.

Had a hard time drawing his arms this go 'round so I'm not thrilled with how those turned out. Hope someone might still like him though & be able to find a use for him.

As always, the image itself is larger than indicated by the smaller preview image below. You can click the picture below to see the preview at full size. The image is 100% on the larger preview. Dimensions are 400 x 725 px.

On the Ninth Day of Christmas...

Finally got this one finished this afternoon & managed to get it uploaded just now. Sure wishing I'd started on these sooner than I did. I'm getting slower and slower. lol There's just 3 left to go. I'll do my best to get 'em all done & posted before Christmas (even if "before" is just Christmas Eve lol).

Not sure if anyone will like this one or not. Not really Christmasy at all, I know. I drew the girl, and then I couldn't decide if she even looked like she was dancing or not so then I added a dance floor and a disco ball. lol There are 3 tubes in the zip: the girl, the dance floor, and the disco ball. They're all larger than indicated by the preview below. Click the picture to see it at a larger size.

Dimensions of the girl are 557 x 786 px.

On the Eighth Day of Christmas...

I finally got this one drawn today. The zip has 3 separate images - the girl holding the buckets, the cow, and the bucket of milk by itself. I wish I'd made the cow a little larger; it looks a bit small next to the girl. Maybe just downsize the girl a bit more than the cow if you're using them together. Hope someone might like them & be able to use them for something. :)

The images are all larger than indicated by the preview below. You can click the preview to see it at a larger size - the images are about 80% of full size on the larger preview.

Dimensions of the girl are 600 x 750 px. The cow is 700 x 450 px.

On the Seventh Day of Christmas...

And here's the next in the set. There are 2 versions in this zip file. One has the water ripples like shown on the preview below, and the other is identical, just without the water ripples. The light blue blur is just something I added for the preview image. Hope someone can use it. :)

This one is also larger than indicated by the preview. Dimensions of the tube are 724 x 629 px.

On the Sixth Day of Christmas...

This one started out as the version with the leg, but I really didn't like how the foot turned out. Since the line in the song is "geese a'laying" I figured it was probably better to put it on a nest anyway. So you get both versions in this one because I'd already made the standing one. Hope someone can find a use for it. :)

This one is also larger than indicated by the preview below. The standing goose is 700 x 573 px. The nesting goose is 700 x 490 px.

On the Fifth Day of Christmas...

Well, it is a golden ring, just not in the typical sense I guess. lol And since it's the 5th day, there are 5 sparkly Christmas balls on the wreath. I hope someone might like it and be able to find a use for it. :)

As always, this one is a bit larger than indicated by the preview below. Blogger always downsizes my previews so just click on the image below to see it at a larger size. It's at about 80% on the larger preview. Dimensions of the image are 765 x 775 px.

On the Fourth Day of Christmas...

On to the next in the set. Hope someone can find a use for these bits. :) This one is also much larger than shown on the preview. Click the preview below to see it larger. It's about 80% of full size on the larger preview. Dimensions of the image are 750 x 800 px.

Just wanted to add a note of thanks for the comments you guys leave for me when you download - both here on the blog and at 4shared. Also, another thank you to those who include my posts in their freebie lists. Always very much appreciated. :)

Yesterday, I checked the links for the Christmas things I posted last year. The links are still working so if you want to snag some of the older things, you should still be able to do so. Just click on the Christmas label in the sidebar to find those.

On the Third Day of Christmas...

Here's the third image in the set. I wasn't sure how to indicate a "French" hen, short of putting a little beret on her or adding the Eiffel Tower in the background. lol So it's just a generic sort of hen instead. Hope someone can find a use for it. :)

Again, this one is much larger than shown on the preview below. You can click the image below to see it at 100%. I didn't downsize the image when I made the preview.
Dimensions of the image are 475 x 600 px.

On the Second Day of Christmas...

And here is the second tube in the set. I've already finished the next two, but I thought I'd post one a day. So stay tuned to this blog. lol As the song goes, it's supposed to be a turtle dove. Does anyone know what a turtle dove looks like? lol

Again, this one is much larger than shown on the preview below. Blogger downsized my preview again, but you can click it below to see it at the size I made it. I did shrink the image by 80% when I made the preview image. Dimensions of the tube are 725 x 550 px.

On the First Day of Christmas...

Yep, I'm still alive. Things have just been really hectic around here for a long time. No sign that things are ever going to slow back down either. I'm working on a new set of images/tubes for Christmas. I've already gotten a few of them finished, and this is the first one of the bunch. Hope someone can find a use for it. :)

This one is much larger than shown on the preview. I had to resize it by 80% for the preview, and then Blogger resizes the image to a smaller size as well. You can click the image below to see my preview at the size I made it. Dimensions of the image are 475 x 825px.

Pumpkin Coach

Well, I'm only a day later than I hoped I would be getting this posted. And I know it's a little bit early for Halloween stuff too, but as slow as I am anymore, I figured it was better to share it too early than to wait and get it up on November 1st. lol

I drew this in PSP 9, but it's based on a Photo Impact tutorial posted on Dia's Dimensions site. I don't have Photo Impact, but I really liked her result so I gave it a whirl in PSP. Thank you for sharing the wonderful tut! :) You can visit her site here, and the tutorial is posted here.

Tagger-sized tube: size is 642 x 485 pixels.

Creations by others using my bits

Nope, I didn't fall off the face of the earth. lol Things have just been really busy around here for about a month or so now, and I'm even further behind than I normally am. I am working on a new drawing/tube (or whatever you'd want to call it) though, and I hope I'll have it finished so I can post it tomorrow.

I wanted to give a couple of ladies a plug tonight. They used a couple of different kits of mine and created some really nice things. They gave me a special treat taking the time to show me how they used the kits, and I just wanted to show them off & share the links to their blogs with everyone who reads mine.

First up is Lyn aka Spyder. She has a lovely blog devoted to her paper crafts. She printed out some of the bits from my Sunbonnet Girls kit and created a birthday card. I thought it turned out really pretty, and it was a use that had never occurred to me. You can take a peek at the card below, and be sure to swing by her blog as well!

Spyder's Corner Blog

Next up is Donna aka Freedom To Bark. She used my portion of the Can We Keep Him, Mommy? blog train to create a free blog layout. You can see a small preview of what it looks like below. Such a cute layout I thought. Be sure to go by her blog to see all her other creations. Definitely worth a peek!

Thank you again ladies for letting me see how you used my freebies. I really enjoyed seeing them! :)

Pre-Train Goodie

I finally managed to get a little add-on goodie made today for the 'Can We Keep Him, Mommy?' blog train. I'm still working on the main kit, but I'm almost finished with it (I think). My part seems to be leaning more toward all the non-furry critters that the kids find & want to keep. The itty-bitty frog on one of the bottlecaps below is a mini-preview of one of the elements in my kit - much bigger size in the main kit though. Anyway, as always, I hope someone may be able to find a use for these little bits! :)

And don't forget to go by the station blog to snag all the other pre-train goodies from the other ladies who are participating.

Contents:
- 5 bottlecaps (200 x 200 px each)
The frog one is shown at 100% on the preview below. Just click on the image to see it at full-size. My blog still downsizes all my previews to 400x400, but the actual image is 500x500px.

Upcoming Blog Train

I'm really looking forward to participating in this blog train! It's all about animals - all the critters that the kiddies find & bring home. This will actually be the first blog train I've ever joined. I started working on a few little critters this afternoon to go in my kit. :)

It's well worth a look already, even though it doesn't officially take off until August 2nd. There are some really nice freebies posted at the station blog from some of the ladies who are contributing. Go have a look! Just click on the logo or color palette preview below to go to the blog for those freebies!

I got an award!

First of all, my apologies to Miss Erin for me being so late finding her post that let me know she'd given me the award. I'm always behind anymore, but I always do manage to eventually find everything. So a huge thank you to Miss Erin for the treat. :) (And as a note to anyone who has never visited her blog, go now! She has some wonderful kits posted to share!)

All of the credit for the design of my blog goes to Pamela from The Posh Box. She did a super job on the design, and I still love it. Now, I'm supposed to pass along the award to 7 other blogs. However, I'm not having much luck finding any which haven't already received it. So I guess I'll just say a huge thank you again to Miss Erin for the special treat I finally found this evening. :)

Deco Stones

It's a set of 10 freebie accent stones in this post. I saw four of these somewhere a couple of weeks ago, and I finally had some time today to try making them in PSP. Maybe someone can use one as a tag accent or something. If anyone were to use these, I'd love to see what you do with them so feel free to send me an email. My address is included in the TOU text file inside the download zip.

I also wanted to add a note of thanks to all of you guys who take the time to leave a note here at my blog, either in the comments or the chat box, or over at 4shared when you download. I'm always kind of slow reading through them all, but I do read & appreciate every single one of them. :)

Contents:
- 10 stones - each approx. 250 x 150 px. (The "Believe" one is shown at 100% on the preview - just be sure to click on the image so you can see it at full-size.)

Overall Sam Kit

Here's a companion kit for the one I posted last weekend. My sister or I one had a quilt Granny made that had both the Sunbonnet Sue and the little boy on it. I couldn't remember what the little boy was called, so based on some Googling, looks like he's called Overall Sam or Denim Dan or Sun-hat Sam. I decided to go with Overall Sam for the name since he has the little suspenders holding up his britches.

As always, I hope someone might like it and be able to find a use for the kit. If you were to make a tag using it, please let me know. I'd love to see it. :)

This is a tagger-sized kit.
Contents:
- 20 papers (700 x 700 px)
- 14 bows
- 8 buttons
- 6 clips
- 5 flowers
- 5 frames
- 5 knotted ribbons
- 10 straight ribbons (800 px long)
- 4 ricrac (800 px long)
- 5 Overall Sams (approx. 600 px tall)

Sunbonnet Girls Kit

Here's a new kit from me. I don't know if many or any of you guys might have a quilt with these sunbonnet girls on it or not, but my granny made one for me when I was a lot younger. That's where the idea for this particular kit came from. I started out by drawing the girls in PSP - my vector nodes are cooperating better than they were on the raccoon lol - and went from there.

I finally broke down and bought a few actions this past week for making bows and flowers, too. My own bow-making skills are sadly lacking (quite frankly, they stink lol) and seems like all my flowers tend to look exactly the same. Anyway, hope someone might like the kit and be able to use it in some way. And as always, if anyone makes a tag with it or anything, I'd love to see it. :)

Contents:
- 20 papers (700 x 700 px)
- 11 bows
- 7 buttons
- 10 flowers
- 5 frames
- 5 ribbon knots
- 10 ribbons
- 4 ricrac
- 4 sunbonnet girls (approx. 600 px tall)

Raccoon

Hello :) Long time no post, I know. My computer decided to play dead about three weeks ago. I've since managed to get a used replacement to use for as long as it will last so I'm back in business after finally getting everything set up and reinstalled.

I wanted to get something made & posted, but I wasn't having a lot of luck with ideas for scraps or kits. So I drew this tonight instead. We've had a momma raccoon and several babies hanging out at work here lately, and that's where the idea to try drawing one came from. I'm not thrilled with the tail, but I finally gave up on getting it any better. I think there must be some setting I'd tinkered with for node editing on the old computer that I can't remember how to fix on this one. Things aren't quite working like I expect them to at times. lol

This one is a bit larger than I generally make my drawn tubes, so maybe it can be used for larger projects I hope. I left it at full-size on the preview. Just click on the preview image below to see it at 100%. The image below gets resized to a maximum size of 400 x 400 (I think) so it looks smaller than it actually is on the preview below.

Mosaic Frames

I've got a new bundle of frames to share this evening. I've just been experimenting and fiddling with PSP, trying out a few ideas I had for some different frames. These were the result of one idea that turned out fairly well. So, I made a set of 10 different ones. I used the same colors I've used for the last several things I've posted - the Visiting The Park kit as well as the flower bits & ruffled frames. The darker blue complete frame is shown at 100% on the preview so be sure to click on the picture to see it at full-size. All the other colors in the file are shown just as segments of the full frame to the left side of the preview. Hope someone might be able to find a use for them. :)

Laced Frames

I had the day off work today for the Victoria Day holiday so that meant I had a little bit extra playtime this weekend. These were made using the same colors as the ones used in my Visiting The Park kit in the post below so they should coordinate with that kit. If you want to use them with something else with different colors though, feel free to colorize to suit. Hope someone might like & be able to use them. :)
